The amount of people defending this atma system amazes me. Are you seriously saying that 10 hours of grinding for 1 of a 12-piece set to drop is acceptable?

You realize that people have jobs, families, and responsibilities right? Some of us don't have the luxury of playing for 14 hours every day like you. We're lucky to get in 2-3 hours a day. That means that farming a single atma piece can take 3-4 days of NOTHING but FATE grinding. Multiply that by twelve pieces, that's over a month and a half of NOTHING but FATE grinding to get a single weapon. Sounds like so much fun. But then again, games aren't supposed to be fun right? Nope, games are supposed to be about work right? People like you are the reason the game industry sucks today.

Also good thing this game isn't built around using multiple jobs requiring multiple weapons....oh wait. Anybody who mains more than one job, like me, is completely screwed. Just to get a weapon for 1 Healer, 1 DPS, and 1 Tank job could potentially take me until the end of this year.

And this is only the 3rd tier of a 5+ tier weapon that could potentially become one of the most powerful in the game. (Which they basically confirmed at the E3 conference today.)

I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with skill, or dedication, or some test of will. This is a RANDOM system, that serves as nothing more than a time sink, and a way to keep money flowing in. People claiming they have 80+ atma pieces (without providing any proof and then fabricating statistics to make themselves feel special) need to rethink their life and what they're doing with it.
