atma drop rates

Did that read like I was asking why he can't do it? I think it's pretty obvious some people like being upset about Atma more than anything else. My point more was that he didn't even read my post yet vomited out a reply. He is literally spinning on his head at this point. He's in an anti-atma punch drunk fervor.

Most people are because they're not used to actually working toward something. Currently I'm at 7/12, and I've stopped doing it as it has run a bit dry for me lately, but I will get back to it after I'm done leveling my SCH (which I'm having a ton of fun with). I still haven't actually decided what I'm going to atma/animus yet. PLD gear seems the most logical as it's my main, but I did see Bravura and it looks neat.

A friend of mine was on the grind about a week ago, seemed like he was likely to give up and just quit, but he eventually got it. Hearing how good he felt to have it finally done just gives me more incentive to get mine done.

At first I didn't think they were too horrible. It took me about 10 days of only farming a few short hours each day to get my first 12 Atma to obtain my white mage Atma. Now, I've been working on the same thing again to get my Scholar Atma and I've received only 1 single Atma in the last full week of farming. I've even resorted to trying this Japanese farming method, and it doesn't work one bit. I've tried using both my local time as well as Japan time, and neither works.

Starting to get rather annoyed with it as well.

So far other than 3 random atmas I got(one for helping a friend on his book fate and 2 in random I'm walking by mode) I tried farming one in north shroud... 16h in a single zone tanking boss fates as a bard, soloing fates, etc... I still got 0 drops in there.

According to the latest 'Letter from the Producer', they aren't adding the Zodiac weapons in the next patch, BECAUSE not enough people have obtained Animus yet. So to those of you saying "Its supposed to take a long time", I don't think that argument is going to fly anymore, because it is taking long enough to collect that it is delaying patches.

... the release of these new quests has been postponed. Our reasoning for this decision is, in brief:

• Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon.
• We would like to incorporate feedback regarding the difficulty of the Zodiac Weapon quests.
• We are working to increase the number of locations where materials for the next upgrade can be obtained.

However, this also tells me they were intended to be more accessible then they currently are, and they might be altering it to increase drops to a far more reasonable rate (I assume on par with typical item farming).

that made me sad.. i have holy shield/curtana animus finished and just turned in 12 more atma for bravura atma.. so i guess ill rush animus #2 b4 2.28

With the amount of QQ these drop rates are having Yoshi P should just sell them for myths. 1500 myths each. hoooraaaayyy definite progression. :] R.I.P Novus relics.

It sounds to me like Square wanted to make Atma "easier" by having them as RNG drops so that no one would be met with a roadblock like certain bosses could do. Funny how that turned out.

I got my first atma in 2 hours, but i havent got another since. Ive done 105 fates so far and have 1 atma to show for it. A part of me thinks that SE has a warped sense of humor.

i have and still no drop weeks have passed over 300 fates lost count, to get a better weapon you need to buy it ..but of wait you need super hard coil drop, or just do levi or wait you need the other ex primal that are just as hard to hope for a drop in chest roll , wow and i pay them for this content.
i just want the atma system to be fair and balanced . im am not asking for it to be handed to me. but quest or task to be rewarded how about a number asigned to how many fates performed will get it.
basicly this was just to fill the lands for the ps4 launch. but the fates end very quik i feel sorry for the new comers who fates grind for levels to me that was rewarding new level new abiltys to use
