I think the easiest fix for the whole thing, that would make a lot of people happy, while still keeping the same system, is to chance it so instead of requiring Zenith equipped, it just requires completion of the quest "Up in Arms"

That way people could go through with alt classes to level them up, and get SOMETHING out of the fates, instead of just a mindless grind. Most of the people I have talked to would be okay with the grind (but not exactly thrilled with it) if they could at least get exp for another class out of it.

This. Super amazing idea. That way you can level other jobs. I am still baffled this wasn't implemented.

I like fates, I don't mind 60 hours of grinding - I HATE the unfairness of the Atma.

To those that say they have completed the Atma's in 10-12 hours - you just prove the point, why this needs to be fixed. It's not fair to have people be able to complete the Atma in 12 hrs and other not even finish this at 60+ hours.

I am personally just over 50 hours on Atma and I'm still only 8/12 - my first Atma took 21 hrs before it dropped. So don't tell me this system works because you got your atma's in 10 hours!!!

Imagine doing the first relic quest and Titan's or Ak's Item drop's were RNG instead of a given - that what the Atma's have become.

Are you really going to pan this forum for being too moderated? There are at least a dozen threads on the same topic usually with a few of the same people eventually bumping them all. By all means have your MMORPG Spring twitter revolution. I'll just be here playing the game.

10/12 atma.

For the last 12 days I've tried to get Atma of the Maiden for hours per days while taking small breaks to run coil just for fun. Capping Tomes in the same dungeons is a grind. Coil is losing its luster, or I can listen to people yell at each other in extreme PFs for awhile. The atma books sounded really interesting to me, giving purpose to things I haven't done in awhile for another good upgrade.

12 days in Central Shroud... probably one of the most unfriendly FATE spawn areas in the game because of all the running around. It was the last straw for me and I canceled my sub. I didn't pay the fee to spend 80 hours stone walled behind an awful RNG drop rate. I had my fun, but this grind is awful and it's not fun anymore.


Anyway, It's been great SE. I just didn't wanna leave without explaining why. Enjoy all the PS4 subs drowning out those of us who are leaving.

1/12 Atma I dislike the F2P Atma fate content.

I am reticent to drop my zenith in favour of a coil turn 5 or Levi weapon as I have an emotional bond with my relic. This bond was formed during the two months and hundreds of attempts it took me to beat the original Titan HM. That epic fight was great fun. I enjoyed every wipe and beating Titan was a real achievement for me and the others in the winning team. Every one was cheering and whooping for joy before we all ran out to plus one it.

On maintaining the "necessary" Atma time sink, a simple change of allowing Atma to be obtainable while your zenith is in your armoury rather than equipped as a main arm would allow players to use the grind time sink to level an new class/job and thus see some real time progression.

That going from posting over and over again to a twitter campaign highlights the ridiculousness of what you're all trying to "achieve". Also that you should read posts before reply! You guys are just having a protracted fit on the forums, that's it. Why not create some petition thread so you can organize everyone who actually has a problem rather than traipsing around the forum leaving snotty one-liners everywhere?

Did that read like I was asking why he can't do it? I think it's pretty obvious some people like being upset about Atma more than anything else. My point more was that he didn't even read my post yet vomited out a reply. He is literally spinning on his head at this point. He's in an anti-atma punch drunk fervor.
