Not really an emote, but I'd like to /cpose running animations (with and without weapon), as well as the pose while mounted.

I know a lot of Midlanders hate the run, I personally find it adorable and wish my Miqo'te ran that cute, lol. It is an animation you have to look at a lot. Why not customize it? I also don't really like the WHM run with the weapon out, it looks really stiff. I'd like to have more options with it.

As for the mounts, some races sit females side-saddle on the primal ponies/unicorn (Midlander and Elezen being the two I know off the top of my head). My Miqo'te can only sit side-saddle on my wedding chocobo, everything else sits her with her legs on either side. I'd like to be able to chose between the two, even if its only for certain mounts and not all.

I hope it's okay to collect 5 tattered Necrologos pages and bring this thread back up from the Void — I don't want to make a new thread for basically the exact same thing, when this one is already so well-developed.

There are a few simple emotes I'm used to using in other worlds, and frequently find myself trying to do in Eorzea (but instead, I just get an error):

• /flex: Flex your muscles to show how strong you are!
• /sigh: Sigh with resignation, ennui, or disappointment.
• /me: As an alias for /em and /emote.

Also, if it would be possible to somehow gain access to:

• Doman Bow: The subtle bowing animation of the Ninja Job Quest NPCs. I would much prefer to /domanbow to my allies when exiting a duty, rather than the more flashy and showmanship-like standard 'Eorzean' /bow.

Currently we do not have any plans to add a feature that would allow for persistent expressions.

While it won’t let you keep an expression permanently, if there are times when you just want to keep the expression for a bit longer than usual you can do so by making the following macro (I’ll use smile as an example):

　/smile motion &lt;wait.5&gt;
　/smile motion &lt;wait.5&gt;

Hey Camate, any updates on this? It would be interesting to have an persistent facial expression. Is it still off the board?
