Even if its not specifically implimented, its still clear they want to get all of that leg work done by summer....and that does not detur from the REST of the stuff they say they want done by sept.Le sigh.
NEW-
Job system mechanics -NEW-
Development of core mechanics for the job system -NEW-
Cost assessment for job system implementation
-NEW-
Establishment of job specifics -NEW-
Establish the details of the initial set of jobs and their skills -NEW-
Determine the attributes of each job
-NEW-
Creation of job assets -NEW-
Development of graphical assets for each job such as equipment -NEW-
Stage by stage implementation of job-specific weapons and armor
That would be all the stuff they mentioned concerning jobs. The section concerning the jobs themselves only mentions the cost analysis getting done this summer.
If people actually read the thing we wouldn't have half of the confusion and moaning we do on these forums, and posts such as this certainly don't help.
How about no
And considering a lot of the rest of that stuff is coming up in 1.18, I'd say yes, aside from jobs, we'll see that stuff before the end of Summer.

Like i said in my OP, il be glad if they can prove me wrong, but like most people here, i doubt it, especially at the very slow rate stuffs been coming.
Judging by the past =/= predicting the future. We already know 1.18 includes a lot more than previous patches, and that the time between patches will improve from 1.18 -> 1.19 (likely due to not including instances etc).
But sure, could go either way, not going to bother getting into a yes/no debate, that's pretty much all people do in these forums.
From our perspective, it doesn't look like they're really doing much, does it? They're so slow, it seems.
If they're not really doing much, then I guess that makes sense. But if they are actually doing a lot, then perhaps Yoshi needs to invest time into making that clearer for us.
There's a chance, and a small chance at that, that they are working on a lot of those things listed all at the same time. What's taking so long is because of that. So there's still a chance we'll see 90% of the list completed by the end of Sept.
I don't know. It's SE's clever wording again. If you pay attention they barely promise anything substantial but at the same time do so in a way that to some people may seem like a lot of promised content coming so so soon.
Funny enough it's those players that are usually the first in making excuses for SE when only a fraction of that stuff arrives.
Stuff like "Establishment of job specifics -NEW-" might just mean that we get a hypestone post about what to expect in the distant future. So I guess in short yes I think SE will get away with the list but just not in the way many seem to think it's going to happen.

XI took 1 year and 6 months from the JP release date to the NA one. thats how much time im going to give 14 b4 i move on.
xiv was released on sept 22 2010. so i guess that gives them 8 months left.
