one like from me this is a very good idealots more great ideas in here! I hope the devs take widget ideas somewhat seriously one day. something I'd like that I haven't seen bought up yet;
Media Widget!
simple camera icon floating around. hitting it will turn off the UI and then the icon (only thing remaining) splits into two, camera and video camera. can take a screenshot or start video capturing at the touch of a button.
I know we can take SS now, but it is not very intuitive and I forget the hotkeys all the time lol and video capture would be great for fan made videos. C'mon SE! you have a beautiful world created, lets us market it for you, just give us the tools
I would welcome any of these ideas we can fit on our screens. I think the less emphasis that is put on the "main menu", the better! 80% of the functions I need on a daily basi, should be staring me right in the face, and using the main menu is just a last resort
Minimap toggle!!! Please! It's huge and distracting!
A bestiary
Price history tracker.
Shows the price history of whatever item is currently highlighted in the inventory. Widget auto-fades when it's not used.
A quick launch Widget so you can launch the game and auto log in with your main char right after entering password.
[Status Effect Widget] The one that shows your buffs, debuffs, timers.
========================================
I'd like the ability to LOCK this similar to how we can click through the chat box but still target it later, as it gets in the way of trying to target things. Because we have to mind where we click due to the large area of target-ability tied to names now, that widget decreases the amount of screen we get to click around, particularly if you're working on a very small monitor
inb4 "Get a bigger monitor" that's not always an option.
This could be fixed by giving it the behaviour of the chat box. Double clicking a status effect will open the widget to move it. or it could be adjusted in the Config.
While locked, a hovering behaviour could be added to status effects to show what they are/what they do.
In regards to the suggestion of having a widget that shows you your mules and what they carry. No item exchange necessary.
....
Yes! Brilliant idea. More people should -like- this!
I often forget what all I have stored there and being able to see what they are holding would be a Godsend!
Bravo my man! Awesome suggestion!

Actyally, Rak_Boy you made a very valid point.
Not sure why more people aren't voting... However, rather than this being widgets (which I assume you weren't making them be widgets) we should have some sort of audio notification that will let us know that we're being traded, invited to pt, checked bazaar... I mean it's very inconvenient to /check someones bazaar and then we stop moving while they keep running. Makes it very difficult to buy from them without trying to /t and sometimes you don't catch the name quickly enough.
While not an onscreen widget its the same general idea as most of the ones listed::
more /commands and ctrl+commands.
So far the only useful /command I've found is /friendlist or /flist, which brings up your friendlist, and the ctrl commands are only used for changing your chat mode and using macros. I'd like stuff like ctrl+e brings up your Equipment, ctrl+a brings up the Actions&traits, ctrl+i brings up Inventory and other similar menu shortcuts
Since this game doesn't have a search function at the moment I can't think of any /commands off the top of my head as /search(/sea) is the only one that comes to mind but if someone has one feel free to mention it.
