Okay, one more, a custom sound track widget which allows to me control all sound effect volume levels along with being able to play my personal music would be nice.
Edit: all of my ideas are considered widgets correct?

To add on to Alzelia's sound track widget ... have one that can sync up with your iTunes, Zune, Windows media player or whatever it is that you use.
I was thinking of an expansion to the current time/moonphase widget in-game. Something along the lines of that one you can get for the iPhone. It will display things like date, time, weather, element-related day/week/moon/year, moonphase, governing guardian for the month/year and his/her element, astral and umbral relationships to all dates/times/guardians. I believe this would be extremely helpful to crafters in particular, assuming that these factors play a large role like they did in FFXI. There are a lot of options with this, and I think many players would appreciate having the information at their disposal rather than having to memorize it all (like I did in FFXI lol).
An equipment set widget would be nice.
Kind of like macros but exclusive to equipment, allowing you to save some sets of gear and switch on the fly with a click. Currently macros don't have enough lines to have a full gear swap + accessories so it's a bit troubling to have to switch manually every time or create a separate macro just for accessories.
I'm not against a widget for gear swaps, but hasn't it already been confirmed that there should be no need for carrying tons of different pieces of equipment for just one class/job? I can definitely see it useful for switching between different classes' gear sets though, if that's what you're meaning instead.
/nod same with you; I think the gear swap widget for switching to other class generally, FIGHTER > CRAFTER, have to have 2 macro's just to change gear + another one for accessories. Everything doesn't fit in the 10line macro's we got so we have to make 2 macro's for it... which kind of sucks...I'm not against a widget for gear swaps, but hasn't it already been confirmed that there should be no need for carrying tons of different pieces of equipment for just one class/job? How about class change widget? Same idea but can store gear info + abilities/action slot info by just clicking switching everything to that class. I read somewhere their are working on the abilities/action to be stored per class but just saying this might be another way.
I'm mostly thinking of when you want to switch between combat/craft/gatherer. I have basic equipment for 5 or 6 jobs on me and it's a real hassle to switch because removing accessories takes a long time and it can't all be done in one macro.I'm not against a widget for gear swaps, but hasn't it already been confirmed that there should be no need for carrying tons of different pieces of equipment for just one class/job? I understand, yeah that would be a major hassle. I did the same in FFXI, but had to switch gear around myself because I had to switch gear back and forth between mules.
To loosen up cluttering like that, if the widget for gear swapping is implemented, any gear for that class you created the set for should be placed into a 1-slot inventory item with an icon resembling some kind of bag that says "<class> Gear Set." Or, you know, SE can be the same as always and do whatever they can to clutter up out inventory and force us to buy more retainers. I still wish that one day they would remove equipped gear from your inventory instead of have it take up space ... maybe that should be a new thread lol

Something like a craftable satchel for carrying sets of gear for given classes... I love it.
It deserves it's own thread.
took it away from OP and keeping as backup for later use... might not even use it but just in case.
