Up in Arms quest, atmas not dropping, no quest log

Upon "completing" the quest "Up in Arms", the player is tasked with collecting 12 unique atmas that are obtained by completing FATEs in specific areas while wielding a relic zenith.

Firstly, there is no active quest which tracks the collection of these atmas, and players must search for the completed "Up in Arms" quest to find the list of areas for the FATES again.

Secondly, the rate at which players receive these atmas appears to be lower than intended. Some players (including myself) report 6 or more consecutive hours of completing FATEs while holding their relic zenith and receiving gold contribution rating while still not getting the atma.

If this is not a bug, then it is at the very least in need of some re-thinking. Spending an entire day doing the same thing in order to maybe complete 1/12 of a quest is simply unacceptable.

Could it also be because of the Journal Log is miguided to the Atma Locations?

EXAMPLE.. There are 2 Central Thanalans when 1 is suppose to be in Central Shroud and that the RAM Atma is suppose to say Middle La Noseca instead of Central La Noscea? Which points to my report.

There is no journal log for it because it's in the completed section. It even tells you to check there when you do the quest.

If this is not a bug, then it is at the very least in need of some re-thinking. Spending an entire day doing the same thing in order to maybe complete 1/12 of a quest is simply unacceptable.

No it's not unacceptable. It's supposed to be a long questline and take a while to finish. If you want to get it asap and spend all day grinding fates, that's your choice, but it's not necessary.

If you don't like having to spend a lot of time on achieving the Atma/Altimus weapon, I suggest you to farm Leviathan EX or Coil instead.
