Just because you can get all of 12 Atmas within 12 hours don't assume everyone else does. My first atma took me 5 hours of Fate Grinding.

And yes I got all gold on them, and yes I did not sit and wait in one area I keep moving my ass of all over the place and do the quest as I could. T_T

Saying we are making it sound worse than it is, yeah right, I have 1 atma in over 5hrs farming (approximately). Atma farming isn't hard it's the most boring thing there is, you can farm for hours and get nothing. Myth farming you at can at least gear an alt job as well etc. FATEs + RNG make it verging on unbarable unless you get lucky.

Tedium =/= difficulty.

The hardcore are going to try and burn through it for whatever reason. While everyone else gets them when they gem them. They seem to be randomly attainable (think HNM drops). They are for end game content in a MMORPG. They are a time sink. So what's the news?

I think the second part of this is actually easier and I am looking forward to grind the books.
At least thats what you can call making progress, grats that you got your atmas so quick in the time you got your 12, other got maybe 1-3 if any at all.

That's crap! I'm sure there are a few people over exaggerating, But I assure you most are not. I myself have done over 230 fates and have gotten one. I'm about 463 fates away from the 3k Fate Achievement so I have been keeping track.

This fate grind is bull. It took you 12 hours, it could take others 120hrs to get all 12. That's why I hate RNG, The Brave Trials I can deal with that's the easy part. At least with the Brave Trials I know when I can get it done and do it at my own pace. But this Fate Grinding crap is ridiculous, They could have made specific fates for these.

The book part is actually what many of us do not mind, it is the constant RNG destroying your hope while doing the most lackluster and boring content called FATE... That many disdain. It took me 10 hours to get ONE Atma. ONE. That is not cool bro.

So, I actually am looking forward to the second stage. I -want- that type of grind. I can see my progress, some of it requires grouping. It inspires to make sure I keep up myth upkeep, and there are definitive things to do, not just RNG.

I've spent around 9-10 hours total now doing the Atma grind. During those 9 hours I've been in groups, I've been by myself, either way I go to -every- Fate in the area. I've gone from practically zero seals (after I spent the ones I used to get to cap) up to 13k seals again on Fates that give less, or very close to 100 per downing. I always get gold because I'm practically the first one there and tanking the mob all the time, or I can easily flash spam to get it. I don't think people are blowing things out of proportion at all. I think that's just how RNG works, and why it combined with mostly low level fates is such a bad idea.

All that being said, congrats on getting your weapon.

12 in a day is possible, my FC mate got his weapon at the end of day 1 when the patch came up. He at least knows he's a lucky bum though, and isn't trying to discredit those of us that aren't. Most people in my FC are reporting getting 1 Atma every 3-4 hours, with a few getting 1 every 1-2. Some areas additionally seem to take longer for us on average. Like Lower Noscea and Upper Noscea.
