Character "Aura", getting in the way?

I apologize in advance if this isn't the proper place for this, I didn't feel this should be in the technical support or "bug" forum. But whenever I run up to an NPC for example to click on them for a quest, there is an aura around my character that is really big and I always wind up clicking on myself and have to span the camera around to finally get a shot to click on the npc's "aura" to target them and start/continue/finish a quest.

Mind you, this is in no way a major issue at all, but it is annoying a lot of the time and was wondering if anyone sees this as an issue that can be eventually fixed over time, by simply making the area around your character smaller?

I think there is an option to turn off click yourself.

It's an hitbox, they made those bigger with 2.16 I think for better target selections.
And yeah, you can turn clicking on yourself off (F1 to select yourself is a good alternative).
