I've played PC (maximum settings), PS3 and PS4 versions.
Graphically, I see almost no difference between the PC and PS4 versions. In fact, some things are done better on the PS4 (ambient occlusion, for example). Also, the surround sound effect is much more immersive in the PS4 version, and sounds in general sound clearer to me on the PS4.
The load times between areas are longer on the PS4 (not as bad as the PS3, though). I attribute this more to my PC using a SSD. I plan on upgrading the drive in my PS4 to SSD, so this may take care of that. I also notice a bit more loss of framerate in populated areas on the PS4 compared to my PC, but it isn't much. I don't recall ever seeing the framerate on the PS4 drop below 24 fps or so.
My only real gripes about the PS4 version was the touchpad isn't all that responsive, but that isn't used much so it isn't a big deal. The beta's active help windows didn't make it apparent that the touchpad is actually three buttons in one, so that was a couple minutes of confusion when I tried to cycle through UI elements the first time. Remote play on the Vita is cool, but I feel like the game needs a modified UI for remote play, and I don't see that happening any time soon if ever.
Non-game related, but I hate Facebook, and I hate hate hate that your only options for sharing screenshots on PSN is through Facebook or Twitter. PSN needs Google+ and YouTube support!
Theres a update shortly regarding being able to transfer your screenshots and videos to a USB

"Never forget 90k" - August 2013
I must say... those are pretty bad PC pictures...
Sweet. When you fill out the survey make sure you say you heard about their product from Sacred-Oblivion on the FF14 forums or else I won't get it.
They look beautiful to me, especially the ifrit and watermill pic. Regardless, if you don't think those are Max PC pics then take one yourself in the exact same angle, place, time in day/night cycle, and weather conditions so that we can compare them. Claims are empty unless there's evidence to support them I'm afraid.
Yes PS4 will have full mouse and keyboard support so you should be able to keybind like you would on a PC.
Graphically based on the beta it looked beautiful on the PS4 and also the movements seemed rather smooth. I cannot wait to be on PS4
Right now I play on PC and I will be switching to PS4. I use the 360 controller and Keyboard on my PC and I will be doing the same on PS4. Healing wise its 100 times faster (to me) to heal with the controller then heal with the KB and mouse. As far as loading goes I don't really notice any difference between my PC and PS4. Graphics wise I think my PC looks better.
A have a question about logging into the game with my of character, when I buy the game and then put the disk into the ps4 doi then just log in with my square enix account and my PC character will be there.
Also you get 30 free when you get the ps4 copy can you still use the 30 if you are useing a PC character ?
I would like to also thank you for answering my questions before this one thanks for the help.
With that ^ you just log onto your Squeenix account via the web and add the licence key to your account. Then you can sign in on your PS4 as you would expect to, and your handsome self will be in waiting.
I commend your effort with language!
Thank you for answering so quickly ^ω^ Do you also still get the 30 days still.
Also can you log onto the PC version and the ps4 version at the same time ? Or can you only long into one at a time.
