Wasted XP

I bet I wasted over 300k in XP today because of the Challenge Log, I really disappoint and on edge because of the Atma thing, but I'm in a proactive mode. I could of use C-Log a week ago, while i was working on my tank and DOL classes, is there not a way to divert this XP bonus to a class in need.

I get their is a lot of bonus XP for building another class to 50; between I need weekly tomes cap, run errands, pay bills. I can't just drop everything at the drop of an hat and run my low level just to take advantage these auto challenges. This is outrageous, a couple of 86K challenge XP is wasted on my level 50 class.

Yeah the Challenge Log was poorly designed.

When a Challenge completes it needs to pop-up & ask you which class you want to earn the reward.

It's so annoyingly easy to accidentally pop a Challenge & forfeit the experience because you were on a 50.

Whether it be by just going about your busy doing dailies/dungeons/fates...

It feels too censory/inhibiting in that sense.

"I've been FATE grinding for 20 min's... let my interrupt it by clicking over to my low-level THM so he can earn the reward on the next one!"

Just change your job before it is complete

Challenge log done wrong , You should have had the option that when complete it. You do not get the reward at that moment with out the choice. but get one hour to claim the reward to your job of choice , if you do not then it go automatic to your character.

So basically you want to farm everything on your level 50 and level up your 1-49 class? You don't see the issue with what you suggested?

It's built exactly like a normal hunt log, just not 1-5 monster kills only. You don't get the option with your regular hunt logs, now do you?

The challenge log exp rewards scale depending on your current level so in a sense you have wasted some exp by completing them on a 50 but it'll be nowhere as high as you think.

Open the challenge log up and switch between a couple of classes of different levels to see the differences.

Why not? Have you seen the reward it grants for lower level jobs? It would take a long time to level other classes off of it, but it would be an interesting and worthwhile investment none the less.

The Challenge Log refreshes weekly. It's fine the way it is; people just have to adjust and keep semi-tabs on their challenge tallies.
