Thread: 2.2 Disappointments

i only have 2 things i'm disapointed by currently.


glamors they look so complicated but i have 50 in every crafting class so it doesn't bug me as much. but i wish it was more simplified


levi hardmode so i heard everyone one shot it i was like ehh maybe it was hard. So i'm fighting it i decide to just go for the tail a figured his tail and head had 2 different life bars. When i got it to 50percent the badassmusic came out it pumped me up so much. sadly, i lb'd the tail rdy to focus the head and the fight was just over... It was way to short for me i stood in every aoe and never got close to dieing.

Well surprisingly dress material is sold for like 400k on adamantoise lol!
I found two in a few (3 peistskin maps i did with friends )
But sadly i'll just keep em as no weaver on our server can attempt 3 star recipes atm.
Other than that i love the new vanity items in 2.2!! They make me feel like i'm not a DoM class anymore, more so as an npc lol!
Money is really easy to make atm in 2.2.
But by next week prices will drop and rise so gotta keep playing the market!

So yeah probably sucks for ppl who have done 8/10 things on my list already.

Storyline always been atrocious though, few good ideas and cool scenes burried under tons of fetch quests. Remember Titan? No, wait, actually don't.

Crafters got the biggest middle finger though, they added tons of stuff for end-game crafting... but only added useless armors to craft (iLevel 90 lol) and NO accessories (which where the best part).

I really didn't want to make a new thread for this so I'll just talk in here.

- I'm really disappointed with how fast the Echo buff is being granted. There are people on Hyperion holding Echo parties for "harder" fights now. I feel as if the pace at which it's granted is much too fast as well. Give the first one at 5 wipes then the next at 10. You're basically just spoon feeding people.
- I realize it's also the Story fight, but I was extremely disappointed with Leviathan Hard. I heard Extreme is a whole new fight, but there's no difficulty to the Hard mode fight. It doesn't even deserve to get called Hard. Why wasn't the same thing done for Leviathan as the previous three? Story, Hard, Extreme.
- Moogle is stupid now. The first nerf didn't even need to be done.
- The High Voltage update is decent at best. It's nice to be a little more lenient on Silencing, but it was by no means necessary to adjust the damage and effects.

I realize there is harder content out now and that it will continue to be released, but there's just no flow to it anymore. You go from "Why the hell am I doing this fight?" to "Wow, this'll take a lot of time to down." There's no happy medium anymore. I feel as if it's going down the same road as XI did/is going down.

This. It is pretty ridiculous how crafters are treated. Glad they brought in some more unique vanities to crafting only, but very unhappy you can't craft to at least i100.

I still believe crafters should be able to make interim gear on the i5 intervals (i95 & i105).
