I got a Ghysal Ring the other day. Too bad I have already lvled up my Whm, it's a pretty awesome little lvl 46(maybe 47, hard to remember) ring for healers. It's pretty bland, kind of basic, but I had never seen one before so I kept it. May use it as a vanity piece at some point.

haha... after bit of pain getting extra i70 hat and tool for my miner retainer, I finally can send mine to rank 13 exploration after swapping several gears from mine and making extras gears for it. Hope I finally getting something way better, since my i70 archer retainer keep bringing me hippogryph skins from rank 13 ventures. ^^;

I've had my 2 retainers doing the level 13 mission all week.
Every day I received Coeurl Meat and Trillium except the one day I got a light steel plate (which has dropped 80% in value now)

Meanwhile my friend got 2 mindflayer minions and gave one to me. After this I took all my main botany gear off my botanist retainer and just have him go on the rank 12 missions instead.
Ifeel like if I'll be getting junk anyway no need to have him wear nice gear. I'm also glad I didn't go and fully meld a 2nd set for my retainer to reach that gathering cap - and if you are thinking of doing the same it's not worth it. I've gotten better stuff via quick ventures (like housing furniture i can save for my future house).

I got some really nice iLevel 60 shoes from a quick exploration yesterday. WHM shoes. Since they're unique and untradeable I guess I'd better start leveling CNJ... because I can't see turning them in for a paltry 600 or so GC seals.

Something needs to be done about ventures, because my retainer can't bring back "interesting" stuff. I mean I don't consider walls and floors and roofs that everyone has their attic/cellar (no pun intended) full with "interesting". And the bloody seafood, dear Menphina, all the SEAFOOD, I swear! 4 out of every 5 ventures, my arcanist retainer brings me back fish (or medusa or sea cucumber). Not even HQ and not even a bunch of them, just one NQ piece. At i74. I mean what the heck?? And then I hear the 18hr long exploration venture finds are just - the same every time? What's the point in leveling them up and giving them good gear then??

I'm happy to report that I finally got my mindflayer minion. Still gonna kept sending them though, since I need crafting mats or materia they can snatch. XD
