When assigned to a quick exploration, retainers can bring back anything from furnishings to gear. The original explanation for this was a storage facility created by the Adventurers' Guild, which held goods deemed no longer of use. Left to their own devices, retainers would rummage through this warehouse during quick exploration ventures to surprise clients with their alleged findings.

In the end, however, we decided the explanation is better left to the imagination of our players.

We only hope that your retainers don't make a habit of breaking the law.

So they're uh...taking our "money" and saying they either don't know how or don't want to do the job we gave them and just go to the local Ikea and bring back something from the discount bin. Nice. I suggest you implement Whip weapons for a new class because I'm going to need one.

HAHA Like you said in the show. So so funny.

That being said, I'm convinced my FC's retainers either go dumpster diving or they rob other people's houses on a different server. We always get tables and chairs and ornaments for the house. Then we made a char on Zalera for no reason and went to see the Lavender Beds to find a Large plot that was closed because they're "remodeling due to company members stealing all furniture and bailing."

I believe this is where my retainer goes to steal furniture. Needless to say we laughed hysterically when we discovered this house on Zalera...poor guys...

Then randomly last night my Retainer (Sammy) brought back a Melancholy Mogfork. (King Mog HM Lancer weapon)

...Apparently Sammy, my Level 20 Lancer retainer with item level 0, can take down King Moggle Mog. Get on her level.
