I'm ok with grinding, just rather do it on a level 40-50 fate. Not a level 5 fate. An even better option is to get rid of the random factor and tie it to where you need to complete X amount of fates to get 1 drop, 30 to 50 seems like a good number. This way you actually see yourself reaching that goal.

20 fates would be fair, if you take into account that you technically only get a iLv90 weapon when you get the fates done. You still have the 9x books with all the boss fate requirements in it next to do.

So I just finished getting all the atma( granted it took me about 8 hours in total [The atma of the ram seemed to take forever to me]) and I kinda think you're being a baby about this. If you're against doing it, don't. First world problems aside, you're complaining about how long it takes you to get a weapon upgrade in the mmo you play. My friend in my fc happened to tell me about the legendary/mythic (whatever) weapons in ffxi, and how getting Burtang took him something like a year and three months. You are extremely lucky if you got it in 8 hours. I have 6 after 21 hours of grinding fates.

8 hours in total? That is ridiculous lucky. I am no hour number 22 of farming and am 1/12.

I have gone 8 hours without getting my hands on one of them, many others have too. Its a bit disheartening to know you can go abotu 20-35 hours and not see one when we have people like you who get all 12 in 8 hours.
