    Patch 2.2 - Chocobo/Companion Update

    Chocobo companions have been adjusted as follows:

    Players can now ride their chocobo even after it has been summoned as a companion.

    When targeting your chocobo companion, the Mount subcommand is now available.

    The summoning time for chocobo companions is now 30 minutes regardless of rank.

    Yeah the exp with the Blue Icon all goes to your bird. And thank you SQ, I have wanted the option to jump on and off my bird without resummoning him. Such a simple yet amazing change. Thank you.

    All these great mounts in the game though and I noticed you can't have a choco fight along side you and then mount your goobue. You should be able to ride any of the mounts with your companion summoned.
