I can confirm this is the case as well for me and my fiancee. We did T2 enrage several times and Ultima HM with no lag but Halatali and Brayflox HM versions had absolutely horrible lag.

But not one instance of lag in an 8-man instance.
Crystal Tower (24-Man Istance) is lag-free too
