So I have gotten the atma weapon and finish one of the books and got Int+2. The book is still in my key inventory even when finished, is it safe to discard it now?

I would honestly hold onto it for now until we know for certain, but I'll add this question to the list.

Did you get to choose the +2 int and which book was it?

Yeah, you get to choose what upgrade you want at a time. The book I choice is call skyfire or was it skyfall, not log on so can't check it. But they give you a list of upgrades for BLM it was int,vit and det.
