Thanks man. I still think the stats and or DMG should be bumped a little for going to ilvl 100.
Edit* what you mean you have to work on the books before buying another? Is not just purchase, equip, fuse in some way and stats add up.

Good question, I'll actually add this to the questions. So basically what happens, you get sent to the person to buy a book for 1500 tomes. There are 9 total Books (I think its 9?) you have to complete. When you buy said book, you will get a list of things to kill, fates to complete, dungeons to tackle, etc. You have to complete everything in the book and upon completion this will upgrade the stats of your weapon by a specific amount, for example one book might give you +2 Vitality, another one might give you +2 strength, and so on and so forth until it is fully upgraded.
It's not that I forget, it's just that I don't care.
Updated to add information what to do after you obtain the Atma and are working on the books.
It's not that I forget, it's just that I don't care.
Do you actually need to stay for the entire fate, or just enough to claim gold credit?

Thank you for this thread
Weekend bump.

As far as the "failed fate, can you still get the item still?" question, from the NPC you start te quest, he does say something about needing to defeat the enemy to get this atma aether wielding the weapon. So for boss fates, it'd make sense you would not get an atma if it failed.
Also, I've never gotten anything from a failed fate except some experience and gold, boss or no boss.
So it could be assumed logically that you would have no probable chance of getting a drop from a failed fate. It'd be great if the devs could comment on this particular point, too. (Hint, hint....)
