Oddly enough, I got two of my nine Atmas so far at the exact full hour of server time / local time (e.g. 7:00 pm or 10:00pm). But still, this is perfectly possible even though it is pure RNG.

Q. I killed the enemie I needed to kill but they didn't count towards my book. What's happening?

A. The simple answer is you didn't kill the right enemy. The right enemy has a little gear-like symbol above their head. Additionally, if it was the correct enemy, then you didn't have your atma equipped. As an additional point on this, if there is more than one person going for the kill, whoever gets the initial hit on the enemy, will always get the kill count. The other person just needs to get enough hits for it to count for them, too.

Q: say you collected 12 atma for both your WHM and BLM weapons. Can you work on one book for each of them at the same time? I know you can only get one book at a time on one weapon, but what about separate classes?

If not, this should be changed so you can have a maximum of one book per weapon per class, not just one book period.

Anyone know?

You can only have one book at any time, regardless of which weapon it's for.

Not relating to getting/upgrading the weapons, so shouldnt be here.... but its a macro:

It has been confirmed that Failed fates yeild atma.

It is also confirmed if Odin spawns in a zone for atma his fate will drop it.

You just have to participate and be eligible for the loot of a fate in order to receive atma while having a zenith weapon equipped.

Other things, Rowena sells the 3 Celestial ink for the next phase into novus. And there is an NPC that will have you do a daily roulette (expert or high level) for alexandrite.

You can farm alexandrite off fates( enjoy your 2%drop rate), but it requires you to have an ANIMUS weapon equipped. Its also a low drop rate, and you have to be on that portion of the quest line to make it drop, just like the atma.

The alexandrite is for materia melds to the new scrolls. You start with level 1 materia melds and go from there.

3 randoms dungeon

3 randoms FATEs

and 3 randoms Levequests
