Currently there is no way to add new stats to your weapon, such as giving your weapon Determination when it did not originally come with that stat. However, the developers have said we will be able to customize it in a later patch, but what we will be able to customize, and how we will do this, has yet to be determined.

hmm....was afraid of that. guess i'll just get my weapon to atma and wait and see if they expand upon this.

Q: Someone in an atma farming party mentioned you can't get atmas if someone has a chocobo summoned, is there any truth to that?

This is false. All 4 atmas currently in my possession have come from doing beastman daily fates with my chocobo out (2 crab, one lion and goat).

Can also confirm this myself as most of my atmas were just my chocobo and I running between fates. I'll add the question to the list though, to debunk any oddball theories though.

Small weekend updates, a little more clarification on answers.

Although it's kind of answered, I ran across this question from a fellow person on my server who asked me:

Q: So once I complete the book, do I need to go through a special process to apply the stats before getting rid of the book?

A: Once you complete a book, the stats are added automatically to your weapon, so what you do with the book after that will not change anything on your weapon.

I wonder why the book your worked for remains in your quest item tab. When I was doing my 1st book, I thought I have to go back to the NPC in Mor Dhona to tell him I am done so the update applies. Had to ask a FC mate what his stats are to find out mine was already enhanced. Could be handled more convinient imo. Book complete, don't only provide a msg that book is complete but also that the weapon got upgraded and make the book vanish from inventory.

Q: Does "fetch and deliver" type of FATE also gives Atma? So far I never saw any of these gives one though.

Question - does being grouped with genuinely lower level players affect drop rate?
