Folks, a quick (and maybe newbie) question about endgame content:

Second coil turn 4 drops weapon ilvl 115. Is it that hard?

I'm asking this 'cause ATMA requires a lot of grinding for a ilvl 110 weapon. Is the Turn 4 one still better?

Second Coil T4 (T9) weapon is vastly superior. As far as I know, it has not even been cleared yet, so yes, it's pretty hard. The Atma weapon is the exact same weapon as your Zenith weapon, stat-wise. The Animus Weapon is better than 1st Coil T5 weapon, and about on par with EX Leviathan weapons and the upgraded Soldiery weapons (drops from T7 I believe).

Yes. 2.5% is what many people have determined by using the 3000 fate achievement to count fates.

Which means on average you should get it within 40 fates but it wouldn't be unlikely for it to take 80 or even 120. 40 fates is about 2 hours if you're speed running them (not staying for them to finish). If you stay for them to finish then it's much longer.

Speed running them is the key. Do not stay for them to finish. it's completely unnecessary. Even if you think you need gold, it takes little effort to get gold and the fate doesn't need you to finish. You're only making the grind several times worse than it needs to be.

You need to win the fate in order to get atma to drop. If everyone follows this method the fates would never win and nobody would get anything. Someone has to make sure the fates are won. It's unfortunate but true.

Also keep in mind that in a few more weeks, possibly less, there will be a new patch. And I'm sure its safe to assume it will let us upgrade to ilvl110. It likely will just continue the grind with the books, I don't know if anyone knows for sure. So it really comes down to which grind you want to do I suppose. If you know a good group to do coil with, I'd do that. If not I'd do the relic. Also if SE follows the practice they did with the first relic. Philo tomes for first upgrade, myth tomes for second. I'd wager there's a good chance we'll need soldiery in some form for the next upgrade on the relics in 2.25, I'm saving at least 900 for it, I don't want to see the update and cry cause I have non lol.

I'd be careful using that as a blanket statement. In light of the atma farming, there is now two possible outcomes from running from fates while its going. One there's far to many people, and if you stay, your only hurting all the new players trying to get 1-2 hits in for gold. ALSO your hurting several other atma farming people that are arriving to the fate and need to get their hits in, to get a chance at a drop. If I see people running in, and a fate seems like its getting owned fast, I'll just excuse myself, so they have a chance to get credit.

Now the second result, could be the people your referring to Magic. When your fighting a boss fate, and theres only 3 of you fighting it anyways, and its taking FOREVER. Then someone just runs off, "oh they'll finish it for me".

I m on the book upgrade part of the chain on me paladin and I m just wondering if I heal a dungeon as me scholar does that count towards the book or do I have to tank it to be able to get credit to it?

Specifically says from the text the lady gives you for the books that you must be equipped with the Atma Weapon in order to complete the entries for the book.
