So the new Beastmen story in a nutshell so far

The Sahagin Clutchfather wants to raise his children in peace and doesn't want to endanger them. However he hopes that his brothers (the baddies) can see the errors of their ways so they can live in peace with the Limsans.

I can dig it. A nice goal for Nov.

Kobolds (789th Order) sucks at digging and are being bullied by the higher order. (Because they suck at digging) So we help them screw over other kobolds so they can achieve a higher rank.
That's kinda funny. When the beastmen branches out I plan to finish kobolds first. I'm curious to see how that goes.

That's why I love that they added beastmen dailies. We get to see another side of the beastmen. Some are serious in nature, others are...well look at kobolds.

It is also nice that we are given a deeper understand of their culture as well with each Beast Tribe Main Quests and learn a bit more about their own primal on the side as well.

Sahagin culture follow a family ideal society where everyone, even if not born of the same parents, are part of the family.

Kobolds seem to follow the lord system in their society being that even if there is 1 King in their society the real power is spread out towards the Lords of the system while peasants can only survive if they live up to the standard of their lord or if their lord is kind.

I sympathize for the Kobolds based on how the higher Orders treat them.

    .
I wish they'd do this with a PC race.

yep but there is still a chance they may go deeper in PC races history later in the game as the world expands in size.

2 years per expansion means they will need plenty of content per expansion to support their 2 year plan.

I originally misread this and thought you meant PC master race, have SE sabotage them because they pick on console players or something similar to how the Kobolds are treated...and then went...OH she means the 5 spoken races....>.>;; er...oops~

I don't feel like I'm aiding the kobolds so much as enabling them, which makes me feel bad.

Also, doing the quests as a Summoner has so very many "Where Is Your God Now?!" moments. Not for me, for the enemy Kobolds, as they have to keep an eye out for Titan-Egi zooming in to punch them in the face.

This also makes me feel bad.

Seriously, though, I'm really glad at the range we're seeing between the "good" factions of the beast tribes and their relationship with their Primals.
