It'll allow you to ride the line as close as possible, so you can go all out as a DPS character and execute your various -enmity skills when they will do the most good.

that's the point. There is no challenge if you just watch the bar... the game is not going into a casual direction it's going into a "every retard can play it" direction. It already is one of the easiest mmos out there. Can it become even easier?
It seems it can....

And you call it interesting gameplay? To me it sounds more like an easy mode.
Interesting gameplay is when you have to watch out what you're doing, because if you dps too hard the mob could turn to you any time, if you overheal the NM can kill you and the whole party wipes, if you are a tanker you might remain alone with the mob and this can happen everytime, not when you have a blinking icon telling you to watch out.
Now tell me, did you ever happen to fight a NM, the whole fight goes well, the dps is good, the tank is not getting to much damage, then suddendly the mob turns around and start chasing to a dps or to the healer and the tank does his best to get back the aggro without anyone expecting that was gonna happen? This is an interesting gameplay to me. Those are odd situations, but they are fun! The fights when I had most fun were those when something went wrong and we still managed to kill the mob; this system is gonna take away everything unexpected. For sure it will avoid a lot of wipes, but IMHO it's gonna take away a lot of fun.



People complain about this, but then you look at every other MMO and see people get aggro meters because they cant determine the aggro without it.. quite peculiar . This goes especially for WoW
