Spells like Sonorous Blast are still going to affect parties. They were designed to create a frantic situation in a battle. This is exactly what it does. =)

I hate to hate, kind of.
But a blinking red light seriously? lol That would be so annoying and distracting I think. Its like when light comes up on your car dashboard, or your dvd player is broken and time keeps flashing and you're trying to watch tv and its just impossible to do that!
hahah see how it is whenever this patch comes.
Wont be so much bad on fluxating hate or short battles, but like 10-15 min NM and tank holds hate, gunna be BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK

I think it depends on how it is implemented. I know everyone is probably thinking of some bright fast blinking seizure causing light. I think it will be more subtle then that. We will soon see.
I'd like to think so, but if it's not at least very noticeable it shouldn't blink at all.
EDIT: Oh and I'd also like to think it's for people like myself who have red-green color blindness, since only Red blinks.
I don't mind an aggro system indicator, but I'm concerned with too many color values and the blinking it's going to start making the UI look like an over dressed Christmas tree.
I'm going to pile both my thoughts from this quote. Why did they choose green as low level aggro when we also have a green indicator that's used to indicate a non aggro type mob? Maybe if they did yellow-orange-red instead of starting with green.
It's green? I thought it was brown .=.I don't mind an aggro system indicator, but I'm concerned with too many color values and the blinking it's going to start making the UI look like an over dressed Christmas tree.

Anyways it'll probably be a different shape. Like a DIAMOND.
seems like a bunch of people dont want this...sucks they are going to do it anyways...bleh.
Kinda like how you people complained about aggro icon which ironically the complaints died down even before the toggle was added.
People need to stop complaining before implementation.
It might be unnecessary like aggro icon, but it doesn't harm anyone by implementing it, maybe it might hurt ego of those people that have illusion that they are so good at a game by their ability to guess their hate level in a fight.
Lol yeah. Interesting addition though.
