1. Will it be at 2.2 when released?
2. Will we have new servers to choose from?
3. Will the ps 4,ps3 and pc all play together?
4. Is it crucial to have a keyboard to play this?

1. We might be at 2.25 by then.
2. They said they would add some new servers, yes, but IIRC it's not 100% certain and they really haven't announced much about it.
3. Yes.
4. Yes. It's not strictly, functionally necessary, but you're going to have a miserable time trying to communicate with the gamepad the entire time.
You can use Mouse and Keyboard with X|V on Ps4, Bluetooth, wired, wireless and MAC they're all supported.
for controller, the type interface can be motion controlled if you hit R3
I actually just got mine, last Saturday. Been messing around with it, when looking through the Settings tab, it showed a "snyc with Android app" option. There it will give an 8 digit code that's required to link with the app.
I've used this app with my iPad during the beta and it's much faster than entering text with a gamepad, but still slower than using a real keyboard. The app will unsync if your screen is locked for more than a few minutes, and it takes a few moments for the keyboard on the device to load.
That said, is it possible to use both a gamepad and keyboard in one controller scheme? I loved playing with a DS4, so I don't want to give that up but I still want to use a keyboard for typing purposes only.

Yes - you can always use keyboard to type independent of the control scheme.
