A-Shock: As far as it seems YES, You can receive the drop from any FATE in the area, then move on. The first one I got was the first fate I hit immediately after gaining the questline. Then afterwards I was in another area farming FATES for bout 45 mins with no drop. I have been playing since Betas last year and FATES have had mixed reactions by many, for many reasons. At first I hated the idea of fates for this. But then I really thought it over. I will not bore anyone with the details of my "revelation" but in part; gathering fate parties for open would content is remenisant of Peisty map hunts: which is always a good time. I kind of relish the idea now. - Time sink or not.
WOW- 8 posts by the time I pumped THAT out....
Massive time sinks = achieving something?
Its good to see people actually happy with something hard and time consuming. Been so many hate threads about people complaining about the drop rate... The maintenance we just had people i was doing atma farming with were wanting the drop-rate to increase.... i REALLY hope the leave hard things in this game and keep it challenge. Ive already put in about 3hrs work on fates for this and got 3, its fun
p.s - if u have max seals for your company, buy a heap of the old philosophy items. Coke is going for about 9k each atm (for example) and gain back the seals from farming the atma![]()
yea i love it too.
they should lower the droprate so the feeling of achieving something is even bigger.
Everyones opinion is different when it comes to this but what they are doing is somewhat similar to FFXI with there relic weapon upgrade system just with fates. Its actually been like it for most of the FF series... I remember farming for hours in ff12 for a single item.
Its mindless, yeah, but its not something everyone is willing to do meaning not everyone will have a top notch gear.
It's good to see people in the open world for once.
