Rewarding players for sucking is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. It sucks so much I don't even want to start playing this game again to experience the new patch. I can just picture it now,

-Go to titan ex (which I had on farm before I quit without echo)
"Just keep failing guys, stack the echo buff!"

So stupid.

I agree with the concept behind it- if you couldn't quite hack it it'll push you over the edge, particularly if you have the skills but not the gear. Echo should allow skilled players to gear up through early content faster. However, it works like communism. Perfect until people get involved. The presence the Echo is bringing out many unskilled players to finally try their hand again, and to keep going even when they wipe terribly 4 times because of the buff.

Bad people are counter-acting the benefits of the buff and its purpose. I only hope that in a week or two they've finished their practicing, but I have known a good number of players that this type of content is just beyond even with experience.
