Maybe SQ thinks we're all bats and that we need to echo locate our way around :P

you honestly have to be the next generation of whiner and hater to complain about a BUFF

Echo buff likely works, its just that since the patch released, a whole bunch of people who probably usually stayed out of dungeons decided to try it and now we're all playing together. It's no longer "the pros who know every single mechanic." it's now also "the pros who are -learning- the new stuffs, mixed with tons of ppl who are probably giving dungeons a chance now."
Give it a couple of weeks, watch it even out to how it was before everything was brand new. All the "experts" will have memorized everything, it will become boring to them, people will figure out their quickest farm route and begin making your typical PF teams of "i9000115 only, 1 death = we hang and kick you, nsa security clearance only" teams.
On the first day, even the most pompous tweedles can't run a dungeon they don't know and expect their usual speed run. Everyone is trying to learn so the tweedles don't have room to bitch about learning 2 day old dungeons.

ROFL.. i said this last week when people where like "boo by its getting nerfed and so easy".
But yeah, funny how people did not believe it and expected that Echo will carry them through Content.![]()

Personally I'm waiting a bit before getting back into primals. I had a feeling there'd be a flood of people assuming they would just get carried through the game, when that's not how it's going to work - The Echo is meant to help the group that keeps dying when the boss had an eighth of his HP left, not the group looking to auto-attack their way through it while watching their favorite show on Netflix.
The Echo is to forgive groups for the "oopsie" moments, not the "carry us" moments.
I tried Titan Ex in DF just to check out the echo and the group couldn't last 3 minutes to even obtain the first echo stack, haha. We tried 3 or 4 times and never gained one single stack. In other words, if people don't learn the fight, Echo isn't going to help them. You can't get the echo if you can't dodge enough to make it past the first three minutes.

Entered a Titan Ex party where they asked for experienced only and to not rely on the echo buff, well guess what happened /rolleyes
Echo doesn't make you beat something it just makes it more forgiving, and allows people a better learning curve. If you wipe to a single hit, you are not getting enough experience face on the ground. The echo allows you stay up and learning.
It also helps weakened status because many times a weaken or double weaken member is pretty much dead weight unable to get through phase changes alive.
Finally, it makes parsing and ilvl a non-issue. Taking someone at lower ilvl is risky, echo makes that redundant.
I really hope people won't start dying around just to activate it
The timers are sometimes tough and there's no minutes to wait for everybody to die, spawn, re-buff and so on.

Well, last night the low level duty roulette gave my titan storymode, and due to lag we had to abandon. So, all the failures being seen might be due to player or server lag. Remember they implemented a new system to allow more simultaneous dungeon instances, and its probably not performing as expected.
