Buyback Feature [Can I have it?]

I just sold 150k worth of apkallu down to the vendor because of the unresponsiveness of the interface / lag. What I really wanted to sell, was 1 cockatrice feather.

Why is there no buyback feature?

Is there one planned?

If not, we desperately need a buyback feature.

Please "like" if you support implementing a buyback feature in the future.

Lol, you have no idea how many times I have done this! I once NPC-ed over 1 million gil worth of sheepskin because I thought it was fleece (I didn't notice until I sat back down to start crafting). But I can live with 1 million gil loss.

What really annoys me is when I accidentally NPC unique items which I can neve get again. I NPCed Onion gear including my helm and also some R30 class quest gear.

My suggestion is to just spam GM-call until they give it back to you or send you to jail.

This was actually brought up to Yoshida recently as something that players have been looking forward to seeing, when he was told about the request he gave a simple "Got it!" in response. As for the direction they're moving towards, it'll be as mentioned above, a way to buy back previously (and accidentally!) sold items from vendors.

Awesome, it really is a sensible feature that would be very nice to have in those oh sh!t circumstances.

Sounds like a great idea, and I look forward to it, but to go one step further; why not add an option to set items individually as "not for sale or trade" Thus when you visit a vendor the only items you can sell are lit up white or however it currently looks and those you set as not for sale are dimmed slightly grey...
