Screw buyback feature, we need interface lag to be gone
... DESPERATELY
That system can be simply like in Diablo II.
You sell a item by mistake.
You still have a chance to buy that again but for a higher price than you got it. But you can only get that in same window of vendor you opened. Meaning you get out of "Sell" and go to "buy" and the item will be there.
Now if you get out totally of vendor menus (getting back to game and move around) and go there again the item wont be there because it was refreshed. So it was your fault for not buying when you could.
Other bad luck may occur is if when you sell that item and dc, well item lost...
What I would like rather than a buy back system is a method to "lock" items from being accidentally sold.
Please dont add this...
Game devlopment is already slow and we dont really need this feacher cus you dont know how to play the game. Besides your getting chump change if your selling to NPC.
This would be a huge task anyway. Just think about all the NPC stores and numbers and numbers of sold items you made on every NPC. Yeah alot of saved data.
Dude, stop with that! Why do you even care?Right, we get it, people exaggerate. I'm sure you've said, "That's the worst when..." or "It's the best when..." or "Nothing is better than..." or "These are the best XXXX ever..." or what have you. As far as I can tell, you and Renshi both simply disagree with one tiny word in the original post, and OP has, I see, since clarified, mentioning, "I think the entire situation of desperately has been taken out of proportion."
Yes, it has. It was obviously an exaggeration, and we're all smart enough to know that. Let's not pretend, just for the sake of argument, that we're not smart enough to realize that, or understand the overall point of the original post. Really, let's not pretend we're politicians here - we're definitely more intelligent than that!
Anyway, apparently Yoshi-P agrees with us that it's something worth adding in the near future.
"Desperately" was an exaggeration, deal with it. Could be intended as Hyperbole, but how he wrote that seemed like it wasn't. The OP has fixed it and now stay on your barrel so everyone can be happy here!
Supporting Shiki's idea =)
I agree 100% with a buyback feature, but It can wait till more important issues in the game are delt with based on how difficult and time consuming it will be to implement. Like server lag. But Buyback is a HUGE yes. Good idea.
SELL / BUY UI need to be remade, its horrible. Freaking horrible.
This actually seems like a good idea and a decent way to sink a little gil out of the economy. Maybe this will actually get players to pay attention to what they're doing. That system can be simply like in Diablo II.

I once NPCed a Silver Tricorne, fun times.
Definitely agree this feature is needed.
