Buyback Feature [Can I have it?]

So.

I just sold 150k worth of apkallu down to the vendor because of the unresponsiveness of the interface / lag. What I really wanted to sell, was 1 cockatrice feather.

Why is there no buyback feature?

Is there one planned?

If not, we need a buyback feature.

Please "like" if you support implementing a buyback feature in the future.

Edit: I edited the word DESPERATELY out since people got incredibly offended and implied it as MUST BE 100% PRIORITY OVER EVERYTHING ELSE.

Absolutely. There's a certain little group here who, last topic, was dead against it, but for the most part, I think we'd all be happy with a buyback feature from NPCs. Especially, as you said, the interface lag can cause some of the potential selling problems. There's no challenge dealing with that, it's just an unnecessary annoyance.

inb4 omg pay more attention it's fine i never had that issue i pay attention before i sell its your fault and totally manageable.

Aren't the people always against sensible features that make total sense just trolls?

Aside from that, yeah. Buyback feature is a definite must. Its a tad... to easy to sell gear and other valuables.

Man, drop that word =D

I support the Buyback function, but:
Having your gear, your rare things sold instead of other things is entirely your fault and not the UI's.
Now rage.
Rage done.
Let me explain.
Once you select an object to sell you know what you're selling, so you check it again. In the second phase you see the object's prize on the selling, and you ask yourself "Yeah, that's what I want to do. Sell This at That price." (speaking of prices... I'll leave this at the end of this writing). In the instance you press Sell, you're sure that what you've sold is what you've selected. If you have sold something you didn't select, then you've selected wrong. That happens also with the WoW's buy/sell system, and it's a Human issue.
While agreeing that the UI needs more tweakings, until we receive informations about this feature I say: Be conscious on what you'll be selling.

About the price... It's nice that we know the selling price of an item, but that's only at the selling stage. Once you've sold it you have to sell that item again to know its price.
Is it possible to always display the price of an already sold item?

Thanks for the headsup!

I don't want to play the game 100% on pins and needles because of unresponsive UI mechanics. I won't deny human error isn't a factor here because it is. However let me go into depth of the entire situation.

I was selling a variety of objects that I had picked up from my levequests. So I am going through, clicking to get the price to show up and then sell, etc, all the unnecessary and laborious steps you listed above in the quote that could be simplified just by right clicking. So the real issue is when I clicked 'cockatrice feather' but instead of selecting that, (because the ENTIRE list moves up 1 when you sell a previous object) it lagged. Although I hit the cockatrice feather on my client, the lag induced UI selected apkallu down. The rest is history; because when I am selling a bunch of items I don't want to go through Windows Vista "YES I EXPLICITLY SAID TO DO THIS" 50 times. A simple buyback feature could have gone a long ways here, but instead it gets put on SE's list of "things that should have been implemented from launch."

First thing: you stopped on that quote. Read below that.
Second thing: If you wanted right-click so bad, imagine the Sell system now WITH a right-click/buttons combo feature. WITH THIS UI.

Let them fix the UI, then let them discuss about this.

(Insert description of user error.)
Did I call it, or what? Always gotta be somebody.

We agree a buyback feature would be nice. Not sure why it was entirely necessary to pick on a single word in a post you otherwise seem to agree with, just to reiterate, in a slight wall of text, that OMG YOU CAN JUST PAY MORE ATTENTION.

Ok, I'll try to read it again.

"buyback will be nice"..."not sure to pick on"..."seem to agree with".
So you seem to agree for a buyback in order to pick on... me?

Hey, I like to explain things point per point, so people will understand the juice of the wall of text =)
I picked on the word DESPERATELY because nobody could be desperated on that. If you did error you did error, then you rage and when it's done you work in order to repair for it, or simply can't give a f*ck for it and keep doing your routine things.

We don't DESPERATELY need it. We desire to have it. That's why I support the idea =D

Ah, about that inb4 you said, I didn't give a damn about that. Yeah, call me a d*ck, but I ignore that sh*t.
