    It makes absolutely no sense as to why these Atma's can be gotten from any FATE in the zone either from a story perspective, it's just a terribly lazy way to keep people "busy" (spamming flash/other aoe and tabbing out).

    I assumed this was the FATE's the Zodiac Quest was talking about until I learned they drops from ANY random FATE in the specific location.

    Granted it makes it harder to gather them all in quick succession if they drop at a very low rate in any random FATE but it just makes it... tiring.

    It's really discouraging when the guy beside u gets an atmas piece and says oh lol r these rare?
    And thn ur like but its not fair.... I've been grinding for 7 hours and have not gotten it!!!
    Some guy could easily just get all 12 pieces in a day and be like wow that was easy! ( super lucky mr. Rng )
    And the guy next to him could have been grinding hours and hours everyday to only have like 2 pieces.
    So imo this is the real Coil rng at its finest!
    Perhaps this Coil 3rd lol
    But it'd also be a real slap to the face if someone finally got 12 pieces after all that hard work to just find out that they increased drop rates to 10% after a patch.

    I never thought I'd see the day when I would use diablo 3 as a guideline for something positive but here I am. The basically have a failsafe in that game that ensures if after something like 6 hours you dont get legendary item drop the failsafe goes oh they should have gotten one by now we are going to make the next item that drops legendary. I also believe that at set increments they increase your chance of a legendary item dropping up until you hit the failsafe. Something like 12 hours feels like a good failsafe to me

The Fates may not be so bad if it wasn't the same exact ones we've been doing for ages. Heck I would even prefer something that said "do this Fate x number of times" if we -have- to do the same old Fates. I am not saying there can't be a grind, or I don't want a grind. I am saying I don't want to grind Fates endlessly with no real end in sight. Yes, I would rather grind dungeons than Fates. I would rather grind something that takes a coordinated group effort so players actually have to group up and converse. I am actually completely and totally find with everything after the Fate RNG that I've seen so far. There is some medium to be had where things are not so difficult that less skilled players can't complete them, and something where you literally don't have to pay attention at all to what you're doing beyond running to a generalized area and spamming one button.

    tc, keep in mind it's not the same ppl bitching about that stuff. 1 fraction is happy, doesn't post anything. next patch this fraction is pissed, starts posting, original bitchers enjoy the game, no time for posting on the forums

    Players says FF14 super casual cause nothing takes time, says teleport is bad cause it doesn't take time, says AF gear and Relic too easy and fast to attain, says leveling is too easy and fast, suggest to bring back heavy grinding of old MMOs

    Players now complain that Relic Animus quest too tedious and time intensive.
