Well I'm going to be way behind anyways once Scout, Musketeer, and Melee is released in the future.

Right now I'm just waiting to find my ideal class/job to play in this game but with none of the current classes and jobs interests me and most classes missing their 2nd jobs because not all the classes for their cross-skill and/or level 15 requirement for those 2nd Jobs are released yet I'm just taking things slow and steady.

Only thing now we can do is try to focus on 1 class/job to be at least geared enough to face future contents arriving in 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5. (Preparing for 1st expansion is a whole nother story)

Once I find that 1 class/job I like to Main there is going to be plenty of catching up even with nerfed contents either being Scout (class goes into Ninja and/or Thief), Melee Mage, or Musketeer. I would say Gunblade class/job but Yoshi-p already mentioned there is no plan to add it into the game until we can access the Garlean Empire since the Gunblade class guild is located there.
