There are situations where you absolutely do not want to cycle targets or tab target and instead click enemy lists, t7 comes to mind especially as a bard.

You can target via the enmity list with a gamepad, too. L1+up/down.eh you mean the enemy List that shows if you have aggro or not?
Please explain how this list helps you to know what to attack? Or did I overlook that you can click on the enemy list and directly target the mob like that (Gamepad player here, so I cycle with shoulder keys .. whcih needs a slight workover during combat it makes 0 sense when I target something that is just within targeting range and not the thing right infront of me :x )

Yes, right now marks only show over monster's heads, but usually I use it to mark the next target 1,2,3 of mobs that are the same type, so even if the enemies are there in the enemy list - I need the marks there too
Haha you barely beat me to posting this suggestion.
This is a nigh-essential inclusion and needs implementing.
I think it was just a casual oversight, it's probably on some dev's TODO list, but since it's such low hanging fruit I can only wonder how has this not been implemented yet? So if by some minuscule chance every developer overlooked this, please add it to someone's TODO list.
Moderator confirmation please?
Agreed!!!!!!
This would be so awesome to have. Why didn't SE think of this?

2.4, please look forward to it, etc
still unsure why this isn't in the game, it would help so much
Please reply mods, can't you put this low hanging fruit on some dev list somewhere?
