Registered to Wrong Account dilemma

SO my wife and I just got into the game 2 weeks ago and decided to set up dual accounts so we don't have to take turns. An extra $15/month is a small price to pay for that argument.
With the current game on our only PC, I bought a PS3 copy for wife's account. During the installation I went ahead and registered it to my current Sq Enix account just to get the 4 hour download started. Had I realized this was non-reversible, I would have established the 2nd service account first. But I didn't.
Looking into having it corrected, I sent 3 tickets and filled out the required online form. A week later they still have not fixed it and the latest email from CS tells me "that service is not available at this time".
I do not understand why it is so difficult to resolve this, as in the end I will be starting a second account and paying them twice the money. Has anyone else been through this and actually have it fixed? I assume it is an ongoing problem since they have a special form in the support section.

im not totally clear on the issue myself since i do not use any playstation models for FFXIV. however, if nothing else, you should be able to purchase yet another copy of the game (yes i know that is lame, but it is an option) and register that to the other account that you wish to play on. i hear that there was recently a sale on the playstation network for FFXIv and it was something like $20.
this is very annoying and, by all rights, you should be able to play on both PC and PS3/4 with any account that you wish so long as the account is in good standing and the client installed. Unfortunately, i believe that sony (in their continuing quest for control over everything that you do) has made it so that you can only access one account on any single playstation.
worst case, buy another copy for playstation, register it to the second account and you should be able to enjoy the game on both Pc and playstation for either of you.

i feel for your pain, and my advice is only meant to solve the problem the easiest way, not the right or just way.
