Thinking of Transferring

Hello.
I've been thinking of switchingn servers and this is one of the ones I'm considering. I'm picking it because it is fairly new with a smaller population.

I'm originally from Hyperion, my character is a Legacy character where I had gotten my PLD to 50 in v1.0 but quit playing around 6 or so months into the game.

In v2.0 I started my own FC with a few friends and even though we were small we had fun doing things together when we could. We never got around to forming a Coil static in our FC which is one thing I kinda regreted. Around the first of the year we decided to merge into a larger FC that a friend I knew from v1.0 was running with a lot of success. Our FC approved of the merger and we all switched companies. For a while everything was good but a lot of us started to feel as if we didn't belong. Several of our members have since either changed to another company, server, or have been inactive for a few weeks.


My decline in activity started with v2.1. I've yet to do any of the Extremes and have only been to Turn 2 in Coil. I feel less motivated to play and I feel it's because I feel like I no longer belong to the community. I enjoy FFXIV and want to get more active in playing and feel that a fresh start would probably be best. Some of my online friends that feel the same may switch servers after I move.

I'm looking for a group of people that are active after 7pm MST/PST (I'm in a state that doesn't to daylight so my timezone changes).

In short, looking for info from the people of the server about the community and possibly either join a FC or as I seen other people asking, maybe move forward in creating a new FC or helping a newly formed one.

I'm sorry to hear about your old FC...
But as I said earlier today on another post, since Brynhildr is a "small" server the community is kinda close. Most of the players are very helpfull and willing to form groups for whatever is needed. We have some linkshells running that allow us to stay in touch with many friends from other FCs and we help each other as much as possible. I, myself, request help constantly tu run raids and trials and, not to proud to admit my addiction, I jump in most of the Titan Hard Modes fight on party finder... Love it... *blushed*

Hello! As the previous poster stated, we're a pretty intertwined community on Brynhildr. Being a Lv 50 LTW, I am constantly interacting with other DoH and DoL. There's lots of trading and helpfulness among the FC's as well.

Earlier today I was mining and received a tell asking for help with guildhests, and as usual I accepted and had some fun with someone I hadn't met before. It doesn't take long to start recognizing names here and you'll see a lot of the same people each time you're on.

Brynhildr was my first world. I rerolled a few times and ended up on Leviathan/Marbol and one other, but Bryn was by far the best community I found. Everyone is helpful and I've yet to meet anyone I could honestly say I didn't like in some way. Hope you decide to choose us!
