I agreed. I want to get my new powerful weapon through some difficult challenges fight but not based on RNG!!

I got 2/12 in around 3 hours, followed by 4 hours with no third. I proceeded to curl up in my bed and take a nap. I'm hoping for more news regarding acquisition changes or fixes in the near future.

Couldn't agree more. FATE grinding for an RNG to get one piece of 12 is horrible. There has got to be a better way to do this. If we could at least level up some alternative jobs while doing these FATES it would be just a tad bit more bearable, as it stands we have to have our Zenith relics equipped and just grind away. This reminds me of mob camping back in the good ole days, except they were that good...

ughh....I'd rather do 1,000 FATEs than spamming FATEs and getting Atma based on RNG

Because with 1,000 FATEs, i KNOW FOR SURE i am making progression!

What I feel bad is the people who don't have much time to play (work, kids, school etc..). When will they get their atma with this horrendous drop rate.....?

Yeah, this is really horrendous.

I agree, this is completely and totally retarded and I absolutely refuse to spend 20 hours doing exceedingly easy, and boring low level fates! Terrible idea!

In addition you are ruining fates in those zones for new players or players who want to level since they cannot possible get enough damage done before 8+ people complete the fate. Hell I can solo these fates in under 2 minutes.

stop complaining about everything, you should be happy cos not everyone will be able to get the new relics that fast now. If i remember back to FFXI it took you like 1 year+ to get a relic and it wasnt hard either. I think its good that it takes abit longer now there is allways time to do some fates while you wait for some decent groups in partyfinder for other stuff.

I think the problem that a lot of people have with it is that it forces you to grind boring low level content since that is the most efficient way to get the items and that there is no certainty that you will get anything.

One person could potentially get all 12 atmas in an hour or less and another may spend 100+ hours grinding fates and never get one because it is based off of a random percent drop that is very low.
As one person stated they got 2 in around 3 hours, wherein I have spent over twice that time and have yet to get even one.
