30 mins and then a drop is still unacceptable.

You ran the first boss 3 times and want to leave is no excuse. ESPECIALLY when DPS queues for 40 minutes to get in, You are definitely taking advantage of Tank insta-queue.

How about explaining to the DPS what they are supposed to do, that the bomb exploding will wipe the party... priority should be on the bombs, then adds, then boss.... just like in every other fight.

Even if I ran as a DPS, and my other DPS partner wasnt holding his weight, i would struggle through it, til success. its a 90 minute timer, if we can get past the first boss, there is still a chance to successfully complete the raid...

30 mins in, and still failing, plus 40-50 minutes to queue in means I would have invested an hour and 15 minutes for a vote abandon.... its called being committed to the fail...

If you vote abandon, you can requeue and get yours in the next raid probably within a minute.... so yea.. if you want to drop, you should suffer the penalty. No excuses... you should be committed to the raid. And there lies the problem with the ENTIRE tank community.... the first bad smell of failure, and you are spamming to vote abandon because the whole process is taking up too much of your precious time.

I get it. I WAS a main BRD... ive leveled my tank, and now rock as a ilvl 80 WAR for all my duty roullettes because of the insta-queue... but there comes a point where you have to take responsibility for your role. If you drop from a complete party, and get the penalty. go cry about it. You should be more sympathetic to the others in your party 's time to, that you have now wasted over an hour of theirs by your selfish drop.

DPS is NEVER not enough in a raid that is designed to be completed with ilvl 50 gear! It may be them not functioning in their role correctly, and hence it is assigned to your party to teach, tutor, correct, and grow with to find success. Its the impatient elitists in the community that bring about this very sour attitude of "3 wipes and i drop"...

Moral of the story: IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOUR GROUP TO PUT FORTH THE EFFORT TO COMPLETE!

If the vote abandon does not pass... it means that all three of the other group members are committed to trying to complete. Majority rules. suffer the consequences!
