SE responds fairly accurately to what the player opinion is. They likely expected a knee-jerk reaction (which will cushion the impact) but all these players QQing will do some amount of damage to a great patch.

Honestly, you can get your Atma weapon in a day grinding, depending on your luck. I am at 8 right now, and had time to do a chunk of the new dungeons too. After that, you can get your Anima weapon for 13.5k myths. That is NOT by any means a large amount of myths for a legendary weapon. If you have a friend or two to run dungeons with for faster queues, you can get it done within 70-90 hours. That really is not that much at all; easily done within 2 weeks max.

Now, I won't talk about the rest of the new content; mostly because most of the negativity is about having to actually grind and spend a chunk of hours to get an item.

EDIT: But seriously, Lost City is fantastic, the new hard modes are at least par too.
