    1) The Zodiac quest is optional.
    It depends on your job and your game activity. I don't see it so "optional", especially for a tank.

    2) It's a long term goal.
    No, it is NOT. You can actually get all 12 Atmas in 12 FATES which means... 15-20 minutes or so... IF you have an insane amount of lucky. Book part is a long term goal. NOT this one.

    3) Cultivation theory
    The Atma quest cultivates hate, envy, grudge, but NOT patience.
    I really cannot see how these feelings could help someone to be a better player in this game.

    4) Satisfaction randomness
    You felt satisfaction simply because you have been able to get something with less effort than many others out there.

    Finally, I have reason to believe that there is not even a drop rate implied in this "quest".
    I played some of the most unforgiving MMORPGs (in terms of drop rate) and I'm positively sure of what I'm saying.
