I think what people are missing is that fate grinding is just the first step to zodiac weapons. the second quest in the zodiac saga, trial of the braves requires purchasing 9 books at 1500 myth each. each of the 9 books has several objectives that have to be completed before you can purchase the next book. you can only have one book in your possession at a time. so put the fate grinding in that context.

The sad part is if that was the first step, that would have been okay with 90% of the people complaining right now, because then we would have a goal with a guaranteed number of "This is how many you need to do of X, Y, and Z." Which means we know the amount we need, we can work to it. But with RNG and these FATEs, we could do over 200 of them in a row and never see a single atma. This was a bad idea to make this first step RNG based.
