In my first day I got 0 atma's and you know what I didn't let it get me down.
Today I've gotten 7 but I haven't been farming it nonstop. Fate farming doesn't take priority over beast tribe quest and daily roulette. I've also stopped to do dungeons.
I know people are hating the grind but take it at a pace that's more enjoyable to you.
This is what I have decided to do :3
I stopped to do brayflox hm today and loved it <3333
I plan to switch on and off to make it feel less life sucking xD
I hear Amdapor Town is really epic too so I want to do it on my next day off from work

The unique perspective of Touhou in my own words and why it is different from the typical game or manga c:

I just don't understand some people. So many people want grinds like there was in ffxi and they added it to this game and people moan. This system isn't ground breaking and no different than ffxi's sub job items and the coffer keys as far as rng go. People didn't moan about that system and it was actually harder on rng because other people could roll on the items or keys you needed.
This stuff about doing x without a death or in x time - no thanks. That's not for me, to me that is epeen crap, and I don't care for it. Everyone likes a different type of game and in an mmo it's hard to please everyone. SE has given people a different route to get a weapon and this is one of many ways. There no problem in this method. If the drop rate was increased you would have everyone and their mom in a new shines weapon just like the original relics...we saw what happened there. Even SE said to many had it.
well ppl wanted wep upgrades like ffxi well here you go
FFXIs grind was fun for a long while like dynamis. This stuff is just uncreative reuse low level content.
I really feel like a static goal would have been better here. Even if it was obscenely high, at least you're working toward something. Just tell me to do 1000 fates, I'd be cool with that. RNG kills me because I require progress to be motivated. Instead, any fate where I don't get an atma was completely wasted because it didn't count toward anything. And even if I do a hundred fates in a row, I'm no closer to my goal, because I still have the exact same chance of getting an atma as I did in the very first fate I did. I don't care if FF11 had RNG grinds out the ass, that doesn't make it right. And no, I'm not asking for easy relics. Make it as time-consuming as you want, I don't give a shit. But its extremely demotivating when I've seen people get 4 or 5 atmas in an hour or so, while someone in my FC grinded fates for almost 9 hours straight and got 0. Why was 1 hour enough work for them, but not him? Why should the content be easier for them?

1k fates? I would dislike something like that, I just hit my 1k mark and have been playing since release. As I said before this type of progression isn't for everyone and SE gave us choices. Don't damn a method just because you don't like it esp when we now have options on the route we go about obtaining a weapon.I really feel like a static goal would have been better here. Even if it was obscenely high, at least you're working toward something. Just tell me to do 1000 fates, I'd be cool with that. RNG kills me because I require progress to be motivated. some times i get them quickly with 30 mins, other times it takes 3-6 hours, i do wounder things like do the amount of players doing the fates lower your chance or something
I don't think it's completely random.
My friend just do 4 or 5 fates per area and get his atmas. I have to do +300 fates per area.
It cant be just luck.
This method sucks if you're an unlucky player. And SE doesn't care it you are a good player. Thank you but no thank you.
The worst and the most disgusting idea you could ever have to upgrade the Relic Weapon.
This is an involution of the game play because for the first step of the Relic you have to challenge yourself with the primals and Titan and now? Spend a countless hours grinding fates!! I don't want to spend my money to do something boring and annoying during my free time. No way!!!
