Feedback Regarding the Relic Upgrade Quest

Yay, I like the grind, because it's a different option. Granted Allagan weapon is still Top Tier and that is the real goal...talk about Tedius @.@;;

But Fates, its just as random as the Allagan...once someone posts a video on how to beat it that is

Alas I digress, I like the new system since it offers something for us "casuals" to poor over and try to get ^.^

I wouldn't say it is as random as fates. Allagan weapons have a 100% chance to drop. You have a little over 11% chance that the weapon will be the one you want. The atma drop rate for FATES is WAY lower than 11%. Also, the first time your group gets an Allagan weapon to drop there is a 100% chance that someone in the group needs it. Thus improving your group.

Spent 8 hours on fates...got 3 Atma. I may be unlucky, but it's still horrid having to go back and do low level fates as a scholar. If it was grind 1,000 lvl 50 fates I would be happier. Low level scholar is very painful.

I guess I'd be more annoyed, but I need to do a LOT of FATEs anyhow for the 3k achievement, plus all the crafting junk will take a lot of FATE farming for mats as well.

Question: You need to have relic zenith equipped to get Atma to drop?

I was hoping I could kill two birds with one stone--leveling lower classes while getting Atma--looks like that isn't possible :l

SE, Please explain to me how a NEW player/alt is suppose to get Atma Relic in 3weeks+ from now? basically if you don't grind relic NOW, you will be stuck. Nobody is going to help you in 3+ weeks from now as less players will be grinding and you are basically lockout because of the FATE RNG design. Even a large FC will be hardpress to mindlessly grind fates for 1 new member that needs Relic. Terrible design.

Don't worry, they'll raise the chances of receiving the items, causing the board to once again throw a tantrum because "SE is just handling out Zodiacs now!!! It'a only been 6 months!!!"..............

Most likely scenario with this problem you mention when it does happen the difficulty of those fates will be lower like others have been depending on how many participates etc.

false. that assumes that people well only want to get one atma weapon. there are 9 jobs. plenty of people will want to get the atma weapon for each of the 9 jobs.
