    I saw a screenshot on another site showing one of the new mining nodes giving their bonus after getting 400 gathering, whereas the Umbral rock node showed its bonus being given after reaching 370. I was able to get to 387 to mine the Umbral rock near camp tranquil which spawns at 6 am after melding everything as much as I could and got the chance to obtain to 25%, so I'm guessing that the two star unspoiled nodes will take getting the new miner's pick in order to even get the chance of obtaining any item from them.

    With 379 gathering the base chance to gather was 90% for the umbral rock as well as 1% or more chance of HQ (I forgot to check before using unearth 2 and blah).
