Negative, Ghost Rider, this is a far cry from Maximum Grind.
o_o Ever played Lineage II? Maximum Grind poster child.
yea... your right, I apologize for my error:
it is already semi worthless now. The high allagan (ilvl115), restored version of the 'weathered' series (ilvl110) and tidal wave (ilvl100) are better then it, although the tidal waves may be case by case on the weapon comparisons themselves.
ok, what are we crying about now?
High Allagan is basically irrelevant for the purpose of this conversation, do you really think the majority or even a sizable fraction of the playerbase will have the High Allagan by the time 2.25 rolls around? Hell, not all groups have even beaten Turn 5 by the time 2.2 hit, six months after its release. O_oyea... your right, I apologize for my error:

Even if so, the High Allagan are supposed to be top tier. The Zodiac is not. o.O It's supposed to be competitive.
The Tidal Waves do not make the Animus worthless at all, they are roughly equal, and, at 2.25, the Zodiac will outdo the Tidal Waves easily.
O_o The Weathered start at 100 and upgrade to 110 through an unknown mechanism that likely involves Coils, which not everyone participates in. This makes the Animus competitive for now, lagging behind a bit once people acquire the upgrade items for Weathered (how are they acquired? are they rare? will you have to compete with others for them?), and competitive again in 2.25.
Any way you look at it, this is a fine weapon option that will grow stronger and have unique features to it as the system expands.
Where is the problem?

Anyone have a updated table?
I can confirm tripple tomes for Boarskin at least. Got 21 Myth yesterday out of 1 of 3.Guess I can throw in the myth and soldiery drop rates for treasure maps. I didn't get any triple tome rewards from the small amount I did, but I assume they still happen.
Leather - No tomes, same as before.
Goatskin - 3 Myth
Toadskin - 5 Myth
Boarskin - 7 Myth
Peisteskin - 7 Myth, or occasionally 3 Soldiery
I am assuming Boarskin can also drop Soldiery once in a while, but I only did one, so I don't know for sure yet.
Hmm, gonna guess the new best tomes farming is the 4man dungeons. If we assume roughly as hard as AK back in 2.0, then it's exactly same rate as that to reach weekly cap: AK in 2.0 gave 30 myth, or 1/10 of 300 cap. Now we get 45 soldiery which is 1/10 of 450 cap. And since Weathered costs exact same numbers as the i90 myth, you're actually getting Weathered 1.5x times faster than i90 gear during 2.0.
Of course, lot of variables I might not know yet, but looks right about on track to me. Easier than the wait-3-weeks-for-a-chest of 2.0, but harder than cap-on-Monday-just-from-coil+a-few-runs it was for a while.

Hi,
I just did WP awhile ago, and it only gives a total of 30 Myth (10 for first boss, 20 for second boss and none for the last boss), as for the Soldiery, I'm not sure since I'm already capped when I cleared it.

Myth drop rates are terrible now outside of CT. It takes longer to get myth now than before the patch. The hard mode dungeons dont give any myth from the last boss anymore. Guess they didnt want people to be able to farm both soldiery and myth at the same time.
I notice you guys mentioning that the new hard modes give 50 Myth and 45 Soldiery, yet Im looking at the spreadsheet and I see that under "Expert Roulette" It says 0 Myth 45 Soldiery. Does the 50/45 Myth/Soldiery apply to the Roulette too?
