Soldiery/Myth Drop Rates

I do like that they upped CT to 100, so that should keep CT fairly relevant.

Well, this is disappointing. They dropped the weekly limit and then nerfed the amount each dungeon drops. If you have multiple jobs at 50, it will take forever to grind out a set of Myth armor for each to get ready for the second turn of Bahamut. Honestly, people are better off just farming BC 1-5 for i90 gear than going for Myth tomes...

Lots of dungeons drop less Myth than usual while CT drops 100 instead of 200 like it should (replacing Philo), so since Myth took the place of Philo as the "basic currency", it was indeed nerfed overall.

You have to do new content to really farm unless you can put up with numerous upon numerous CT.

I think keeping the myth tomes at the same or slightly lower rate was a great way to keep the i70 gear somewhat relevant. You aren't going to be able to spam the low level dungeons to pick up i90 gear right away. You'll have to bridge the gap with some darklight/crafted i70 gear.

BC is now 20 instead of 50. That's not a nerf? I guess we're all back to doing speed runs of Haukke or WP. Unless one of the new HMs are short.

My husband ran CT this morning and informed me he did not get 100 myth for running CT but rather only 30 myth tomes and 10 soldiery tomes. I've not run it myself since i have classes, but can anyone really confirm the 100 myth?

It 100myth for the whole run. First boss gives 15myth, second 25myth, third 30myth, final 30myth 10sold

He says it was for the whole run (though I myself doubt him, I only just woke up and he is pestering me about what I know, I JUST WOKE UP, lol). He did get the 10 soldiery. I'm going to be running it later after I get back from classes since he refuses to run it again to verify it only gave him 30. He based it on what his myth was on his currency before and after.

Keep running freeloading CT

Collect i80 peices for your off classes while you build myth for i90 gear for your 'primary' class

Get in on the Coil/roulette train and grind 'till your sick of it. Then keep going.
