Well personally, i can see where everyone is coming from how long time is spent on to get these items and also knowing is completely random which fate you get it from so can be frustrating at times so it all about how much luck do you have at your side.
I've spent 2 and a half hours right now in Lower La Noscea, with no Atma of the Fish to show for it. This is just another reminder of why RNG is horrible for quests and doesn't need to exist for them. I'm fine with grinding for something, but not when it is at THIS level. I have over 30 FATEs done on this map alone, and it's driving me crazy.
I had no problem farming NMs in XI since their items were useful, but this? This is not funny. The item is useless at the Atma stage, it's Zenith with a new skin and name.
I already hate FATEs, and know they throwing it in my face !!
It would kind of be nice if they had mini teleporters at each of the small camps to get around faster. I was doing good now I've hit a wall hard and nothing is dropping lol.
5 hours for crab atma
3 hours for fish atma
I dont know how long it would take for me to get all 12.... I've been always having bad luck in thing like this. Maybe RNG God hate me or something
And also, whyyy the heck are these ATMAs are stored on regular inventory? not quest items one? Assuming you forgot and you have your backpack full ......
There goes my atma
Has it been verified that you have to 'win' the fate with a Gold Medal to have a chance at an Atma? Some groups have been running together through fates but it sounded like only one person in the fate can get the Atma.
Wondering if each FATE has "drop limitation", so more participants will make you harder to get.
If so players will not have to worry very hard to obtain the item after weeks, bcoz the drop rate will be relatively high due to less participants.
It doesn't matter if you have gold but you do need to finish the fight. The drop is entirely random meaning anyone regardless if you're in a group or not can get it. I've had multiple people in a group get them so its all down to luck.
Remember this is an alternative method for people to get high ilv weapons. It is supposed to be long, slow and a grind for casuals to chip away at. If you want weapons faster, go clear T9 and extremes.
