Zodiac Weapon Fates

Considering some of the Atma names I'd say you need to do specific FATEs.

atma names are just named for the zodiac signs. crab- cancer, lion - leo etc

As the description sais "The crystalized soul of a formidable foe felled in [insert name of the zone]" it's a fairly clear sign that they drop from specific FATEs and not just any random FATE in that specific zone.

As you yourself already say Crab - Cancer -> Western La Noscea => It's not Lupus.

That may be.. but I've been grinding fates in Central Thanalan for the past 2 hours now. Haven't seen it. Could be that it's a random drop from something specific.. but we really have no way of knowing.

Except that FATE is in Eastern La Noscea, not Western, so the crab atma can't come from Cancer.

It's pretty much like Toryama insisted we should all love his barbie character in three terrible games

This could have been so awesome with true open world design or quest related group challenge in the open world. So much potential wasted.

The one thing I hate in this game is FATES. I have two characters and it makes me want to cry thinking about doing all of them with both. Almost makes me want to quit my alt.

I just got Atma of the Archer in north shroud from Hare today. Its a level 24 slay fate. Definitely doesnt seem linked to specific ones.

You may have to have your zenith equipped to have a chance of getting the drop.

As far as I've seen and read, it seems they drop from boss fates in the specified zones.

Definitely not. As said above, i got mine from Hare Today, a level 24 slay enemies Fate.
